'The year spent at the London Film School was one of the most important and happy years of my life. I came to LFS without a real experience in screenwriting and this course gave me the best teaching I could ever get. It not only nurtured my creative skills but also gave me the tools to know how to write films. Thanks to an exceptional group of tutors and guests I managed to improve my writing capacities and find my voice. It felt like a creative haven, within a privilege film setting, that enabled me to discover who I am as a screenwriter.
The fact that the course is integrated in a film school and in daily contact with the reality and industry of film, improved immensely my knowledge of film language and film practice and therefore improved my screenwriting skills. To have the opportunity to collaborate with the filmmakers is, hence, another asset - within weeks you can write a short script, be on set with your colleagues and watch the script really be transformed into a short film, screened at the school's cinema!
After having done a thorough research through courses around Europe and after being here, I can't imagine a better place to study screenwriting and start becoming one'.
