Mia has produced an Oscar winner, been nominated for a BAFTA in 2005 and 2008 and has been in film, across fiction and documentary, for 21 years. She has worked as a sales agent and distributor at companies such as Mainline/Screen Cinemas, Mayfair Entertainment, The Film Consortium/The Works and Granada Films on films such as THE WEDDING BANQUET, BANDIT QUEEN, POISON, 24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE, HIDEOUS KINKY and GIRLS NIGHT.

She has run her own company Missing In Action Films, a production and marketing/distribution consultancy since 2003. She produced the Oscar winner SIX SHOOTER by Martin McDonagh, the BAFTA nominated SCOTT WALKER 30 CENTURY MAN, and acted as worldwide distribution and marketing consultant on TSOTSI, SHIFTY, BLINDSIGHT by Lucy Walker and FIRE IN BABYLON.

Her main role currently is as freelance Creative Producer and Marketing Consultant for Film London Microwave, the microbudget feature film scheme.

She has worked on the production development and releases of MUM AND DAD, SHIFTY, THE BRITISH GUIDE TO SHOWING OFF, FREESTYLE and the forthcoming ILL MANORS, STRAWBERRY FIELDS and BORROWED TIME (all set for 2012), with a further 6 to greenlight and shoot 2012/13.

She also runs her own slate of films, working with producers such as Charles Steel and with directors such as Pete Travis, Penny Woolcock and the screenwriter Jay Basu.
